Terms of Use
Effective September 10, 2026. These terms apply to www.sentinelfour.com. By using the site you agree to them. The client, caregiver and partner portal at portal.sentinelfour.com is governed by the separate terms shown at sign-in, not by this page.
Information, not advice
The articles and service descriptions on this site explain California’s Self-Determination Program and how Sentinel Four works as a Financial Management Service. They are general information. Your regional center, your Individual Program Plan and the Department of Developmental Services’ directives control what applies to you. Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing here creates a client relationship until you and Sentinel Four have completed enrollment.
Accuracy
We work to keep figures such as employer burden rates, payroll calendars and program rules current, but they change. If a figure here disagrees with a document from your regional center or from Sentinel Four’s case management team, the document wins. Please tell us so we can correct the page.
Using the site
You may read, link to and share pages from this site. You may not scrape it, attempt to gain access to systems behind it, submit false information through its forms, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.
Content and trademarks
The text, images and the Sentinel Four name and logo on this site belong to Sentinel Four or its licensors. Regional center, DDS and other third-party names belong to their owners and are used only to describe the program.
Links to other sites
We link to regional centers, the Department of Developmental Services and other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by California law, Sentinel Four is not liable for losses arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. This does not limit any obligation Sentinel Four has to its enrolled clients under their service agreements.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about this website will be heard in the courts of Shasta County, California.
